Doniphan Building Renovation
After being inundated with four feet of water, Doniphan’s joint city hall, police and fire department building has been renovated to better protect against flooding. It now houses the fire department exclusively. Permanent structures still need to be built to house police and city hall.
Replacement Low Water Crossing
This March 21, 2018 State Emergency Management Agency inspection photo shows a replacement low water crossing that was built in Morgan County utilizing FEMA disaster assistance as a result of federal disaster declaration DR-4317.
Eureka High School Gym Reopens
In mid-September 2017, after enduring two floods in 18 months, Eureka High School Gym A reopened and was in use by students once again. It was broken in with a with a volleyball game.
FEMA Corps team members collect canned goods for the “Feds Feed Families Campaign”
FEMA Corps team members at the Missouri disaster recovery Joint Field Office in Jefferson City collect canned goods donated by FEMA staffers for the “Feds Feed Families Campaign,” which seeks to help stock food banks and pantries. FEMA’s local effort, which runs through Aug. 31, will support food banks and centers in the area.
